About Shylie
I once tried to fit myself into a single niche, thinking I had to define exactly what my art “should” be. But as someone who’s navigated psychology, the performing arts, and even nannying, I’ve learned that my creativity doesn’t live in a box, it comes alive in the process and in the joy of making.
As a multimedia artist, I work with whatever sparks joy in the moment (clay, paint, pencils, anything in front of me!). My work is process-focused, created earnestly and without pretense, inviting both myself and my audience into the flow of making.
I believe creativity should be accessible, playful, and a reflection of who we truly are. I welcome you to pull up a chair and create alongside me, or take home a piece that resonates with your heart.
